What was the highlight of Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu
Great Room, Location, and Views for a Reasonable Price
Facilities and room were nice, good size, and clean. Beautiful property in the mountains on the coast with stunning views. Good location in Costa Smeralda close to other towns for a variety of restaurants, shopping, etc.
Breakfast was pretty awful, and staff seemed rude. For a very reasonably priced hotel, it had the vibe that it thought it was much more luxurious than it was. Lots of "influencer" type guests taking photos. Much of the Poltu Quatu area was under renovation and closed, including restaurants and other things to do. Not a huge issue as it's a close drive to Baja Sardinia, Porto Cervo, etc., but options were limited close by. Parking was also frustrating, as we (and other guests) were stuck in the lot on multiple occasions. Maybe user error, but we weren't alone.

Won’t be staying again. Staff was nice and helpful
Location was great. The staff actually the concierge was super helpful and nice. Everyone really.
If wasnt a 5 star resort at all. Towels were itchy, dry. Pool lounge was like ones you see at old apartments. Again staff was amazing but NOT A 5 star, barely a 4 star maybe. Bed sheets weren’t smooth and silky, they were also dry and old looking. Ac did not work at all. Fan helped but loud Overall had a great time but next time here won’t be staying here

Very expensive for what you get
Beautiful location, pool was amazing, breakfast incredible, room was lovely.
There was no kettle or coffee machine despite big fridge and kitchenette. And no where to get coffee before 8am. Non English speaking trying to order room service, was so hard we didn’t end up ordering.
